In cold and damp weather, condensation may form on the thermometer, especially in authum and winter. This is because the thermometer in the dome is not entirely watertight. Below you will find a few tips on how to remedy this problem:
Just get started. There is a big chance that by heating up the BBQ the condensation will disappear. After using it a few times it often becomes less.
Put your Grill Guru in the sun for a while.
Remove the thermometer and put it in the oven at a maximum of 100 degrees Celsius until the moisture has evaporated.
Put the thermometer in a bowl of uncooked rice overnight.
